The doors reopened at the refreshed Scotmid store in Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Friday 22nd November 2019 and Head of Food Kevin Plant believes the local community will benefit from using the ultra-modern lay-out and expanded range of products available – including a greater Food to Go offering.
Kevin Plant, Scotmid’s Head of Food, said: “We’re delighted to be able to open the doors on a new modern store for the local community to use in Glenurquhart Road.
“We believe our members and customers will be really impressed with the new look and improved offering available – our ranges have expanded significantly.
“We’ve also utilised the latest energy efficient technologies with refrigeration and lighting pinpointed as key priorities and the new spacious lay-out will provide a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
“Our Food to Go offering has also expanded with the introduction of burgers and baguettes with the option to add in further new takeaway lines depending on our customers’ needs.
“We’re absolutely certain the local community will love their new Scotmid store; we’re delighted to be able to open the doors to our new ultra-modern store.”
The new-look Glenurquhart Road store is situated 14 miles away from the flagship store in Scotmid’s North Region at Drumnadrochit, which opened in January.
