The programme sees Ulsterman Paul Rankin and Scotsman Nick Nairn on a culinary journey around the coast of Scotland and Northern Ireland exploring their shared heritage and finding inspiration in the produce and recipes they discover.
In the series the acclaimed chefs take to the high seas stopping off at a new town in each episode along the Ulster or Scottish coastline. Upon arrival at each destination they have just one day to create, prepare and serve a delicious three course meal.
Their challenge in each episode is to cook a 3-course meal using some of the very best local produce the area is famous for. Finding fabulous local produce is one thing, getting two top chefs to agree on a menu and prepare the meal in an unfamiliar kitchen and against the clock is another.
