Scotmid Achieves Record Wins at Scottish Grocer Awards
Scotmid scooped four awards at the recent annual Scottish Grocer Awards held in Glasgow on 12 March. The Scotmid food business won a total of four awards and also collected a further four Highly Commended awards.
Winners were:
- Chilled Store of the Year for its Burnhead, Uddingston store
- Soft Drinks Outlet of the year for its Bathgate store
- Tobacco Retailer of the Year for its Bonnybridge store
- And Social Responsibility Retailer of the Year
Highly Commended awards were:
- In-store bakery of the year for its Kirkliston store
- City Store of the Year for its Pilrig, Edinburgh store
- Convenience Store of the Year for its Bieldside store
- Employee of the Year for Erin Pipe at its Balloch store
Scotmid was competing against the best of Scottish convenience stores.
