Scotmid wants to see its members become actively involved within the Society. Membership gives you a genuine opportunity to play a key role within the organisation.
As a mutual organisation, which is run differently from a PLC members can make a difference by being part of the democratic structure. You can (conditions apply) seek election to one of our Area Committees from which our Board of Directors is appointed. However being a member of Scotmid gives you the opportunity to help us make a real difference in your community.
Whichever role you choose to play within the Society you will be joining something that is truly special. You will be supporting the values of self help, self responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity.
